Accessibility Checker & Report is a browser extension made by Zennel. This policy covers both the extension and the zennel.dev website. It explains what we collect, what we deliberately do not collect, and who else is involved. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
The short version
- We do not collect the pages you scan. Scanning happens inside your browser. No page content, URL, screenshot or result is sent to us.
- If you buy Pro, we store your license key and an anonymous installation ID so the key can be activated on your devices.
- We do not sell data, and we do not run advertising or third-party analytics trackers.
What the extension stores and sends

Accessibility Checker & Report asks for the activeTab permission, which means it
can read a page
only at the moment you click the extension icon on that page. It has no
standing access to your browsing, and it cannot read pages in other tabs or in the background.
What the website collects
This website is served by Cloudflare. Like most web servers, Cloudflare records standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — for security and abuse prevention. We do not add analytics scripts, advertising pixels or social trackers to this site. There are no cookies set by this website itself.
Payments
Purchases are handled by Creem, which acts as merchant of record. That means Creem is the seller of record for your purchase: they take the payment, issue the receipt, and handle any applicable taxes. Your card details go to Creem and their payment providers — they never reach us or the extension.
When you buy, Creem tells us that a purchase happened and gives us a license key to hand back to you. We receive your email address so the key can be delivered. We do not receive your payment details.
If you write to [email protected], we keep the message for as long as needed to help you, and to keep a record of what was promised. We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not send marketing email.
How long we keep things
- License records: for as long as the license is valid, plus a reasonable period afterwards so we can answer support questions.
- Support email: up to 24 months.
- Server logs: a short retention period set by Cloudflare, typically days, not months.
Your choices
You can deactivate a device from inside the extension at any time; that removes the local license data and frees the device slot. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
Zennel is a tool for people who build websites. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the extension's release notes.
